Director of Supply Chain

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement inventory strategies to optimize inventory turns and cash flow.
• Deliver targeted results including cost savings, supplier OTD and quality and develop and implement sourcing strategies.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure the necessary materials are on hand to meet production demands.
• Establish all import/export requirements for product distribution including international warehousing.
• Develop and manage a team of supply chain professionals, maintaining and responsibility for succession planning, organizational, and talent development.
• Benchmarking and adapting industry best practices to drive state-of-the-art supplier management standard work.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field with a preference for an advanced degree.
• 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a specialty vehicle or automotive manufacturing environment
• Must have deep functional experience in supply/demand planning and direct spend category management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience negotiating terms and conditions.
• Previous experience in leading and building a team at a senior management level required.
