Position Overview: As the Paint Manager, you’ll be responsible for providing leadership, direction, and oversight to both the Paint and Conveyor departments. Both departments work together as their E-Coat Painting Process integrates with an overhead conveyor system. The bulk of the day-to-day duties will be overseeing the Painting Department.

Additionally, you’ll collaborate with assistant managers, supervisors, and associates to foster a cohesive team that consistently meets safety, quality, delivery, and production goals. Your expertise will drive the seamless functioning of the conveyor system while maintaining a high standard of operational efficiency.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a diverse team of up to 50 employees across 3 shifts, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  • Drive daily operational goals, ensuring 100% uptime of the conveyor system and meeting safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare and present insightful reports to senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Champion SCORE procedures (Safety, Cleanliness, Organization, Responsiveness, Efficiency) throughout the departments.
  • Elevate departmental morale through enhanced communication, follow-up, and a team-centric approach.
  • Mentor and coach supervisors, leads, and associates, fostering their professional growth.
  • Participate in corrective actions, counseling, and employment-related decisions.
  • Develop and manage the annual departmental budget, ensuring financial adherence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 6-10 years of progressive management experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with high-volume E-Coat painting
  • Strong computer proficiency.
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
