Program Manager
An innovative $50M plastic products manufacturing company has an immediate need for a Program Development Manager. In this position, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of customer programs by overseeing and directing cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Sales), working towards the goal of meeting all expectations including cost, quality, and timing.
Leading multi-functional teams in building a robust manufacturing process that delivers complaint parts at stated cost, the Program Manager is responsible for an entire program up until a production capable process is released to production. This is a critical role within the organization and has a tremendous amount of visibility.

Responsibilities:
Will lead all new business product launches, coordinating with customers, internal department managers, toolmakers, engineers, etc.
Supports and drives compliance to the Program Development Process
Will drive customer and core team interactions during the program development phase of product commercialization
Manages and reports on programs in all areas including funding, product cost, product quality, and timing
Handles customer expectations by addressing program issues quickly and efficiently
Manages the program timeline and budget
Ensures appropriate people and capital resources are deployed for successful project completion
Reviews all CAD data and part models along with the overall application of the product with engineering and quality for adherence to form, fit, & function requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred
Demonstrated proficiency within a program management system
Experience with plastic injection molding manufacturing required
Understanding of APQP, PPAP, FMEA and Capability Studies
Project Management skills along with strong problem solving and is analytical
Exceptional leadership skills and communication with significant team, employee, customer, and vendor engagement
Statistical aptitude with strong quantitative and analytical skills & strong knowledge of problem-solving techniques, has attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a “can-do” attitude
Proficient in all Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Project
