A premier automotive supplier that experiences consistent, year-after-year growth has an immediate need for a Quality Supervisor to lead their Quality Management System. The Quality Supervisor will serve as the Quality Management Representative for all third party external & internal audits and will oversee their IATF-16949 certification. This position is a key part of the company’s Quality Team.
Located in southwestern Ohio, this flagship manufacturing location has consistently been one of the premier automotive suppliers in the Midwest and are one of the top suppliers in their space, have a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant, and one of the best benefit packages around!
In this position you will:
Lead and serve as a member of the internal audit team
Responsible for coordinating, planning, and training pf all activities associated with the QMS Audit Program
Adhere to the company’s Quality Management System
Ensure that all IATF-16949 requirements are being met along with ISO14001 for their EH&S Program
Create and distribute daily/monthly scrap reports to appropriate managers
Lead the document and gage control systems within the QMS to ensure strict compliance with all system processing requirements
Direct efforts for the plant’s calibration program for all quality gauges & measurement systems
Conducts annual audits of all customer-specific requirements and facilitates any changes required to the QMS
Is the Quality Representative for IQMS ERP software
Our client would like to see:
A Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree preferred
Auditor certification (IATF-16949), Lead Auditor certification a plus
At least 3-5 years of related quality experience within the automotive industry
Thorough knowledge of IATF-16949 requirements with a strong background in Quality Systems
Automotive component manufacturing experience
Gage calibration experience
Administration of Quality Management Systems
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills to interact with other business units, employees, and customers
Advanced Excel skills (i.e. databases, formulas, pivot tables, graphing)
IQMS ERP software experience a plus
